Are you ever doing something and some one won't just leave you alone? They keep nagging and nagging, but all you hear is "blah blah blaaah bla-a-a bla". Then, because you're distracted, all you can say is "uh huh, yea yea, ok", AND THEY STILL DON'T LEAVE YOU ALONE! At this point they start getting mad that you're not paying attention, you slowly become aware that they aren't there any more, then at that moment, you ask them what they wanted and they tell you. Anyways, I hate it when that happens.
