In other news...

I've heard this story, about how young Einstein explained to his teacher, that Evil is simply the absence of God.
People accept this without a second thought, I assume because "Einstein" said it and it's a nice point.

I happen to believe it's BS.

first off, prove to me that Einstein said it.

second, you're telling me, that GOD himself, CAN be absent?
I thought GOD was omni-present?

lets take this way way back to the beginning.
Lucifer was up in heaven, and he decided he wanted to do whatever, and God threw him out because he was evil.
ok, yea.
was God present in that situation?
I think he was, after all, it was HEAVEN.
ok, now we're in the garden.
Adam and Eve eat the stupid fruit and plague all of future humanity with things like CANCER.
Now, Cancer isn't of God, so we can assume it's evil.
so if I were to apply "Einstein's" logic to someone with cancer, I would say that that person lacks God.

That's BS isn't it?
Both my grandpa and my grandma had cancer, and I also believe they had God with them.
so let me ask you.

was God absent from them?

God isn't absent, Sin is present.
I'm not saying that people sin and bring disease upon themselves, I'm saying Adam and Eve ate the fruit and now we live with Sin.
