I can't wait for High school winter camp, I hope we have a lot of people come.
Last year we only had 2 guys and 2 girls... and 1 female leader, no male leaders.
Me and David had to join up w/ another church.... kinda weerd but whatever, they were cool.
That was the year we ditched camp and went to Mcdonalds down the mountain.... It was our leader's idea....
That was the year me and David played "Screaming ninjas" with this other church.
Good times, that church had a cool leader, there's this place at the camp called "the round house", it's where you go for information and stuff like that. The leader guy goes "Hey guys, lets go into the round house, I heard they don't like kids in there"
He has a group of about 15 kids and ALL of them go inside the round house, lol, the round house lady was MAD!
it was funny.
That was a good year, we won't be going back to that camp agian though, it kinda sucks, I like getting to know that we're not the only church in the world with cool kids.
It's nice to see other teens all together hangin out, you end up hangin out with people you don't even know, but everyone has something in common.
Man, Those were good times at Forest Home, the zipline, the events, the ping pong, that place is just pure fun.
I wonder where we're going this year...
Whenever I hear the song "Welcome to the Jungle" I think of the summer, (I'm getting into one of those reflective moments) I think of all the time I spent talking to Brian, I think of summer school, I think of going next door to swim in the neighbors pool.
I can't remember what year that was....
maybe 07?
I've had some good summers, I wonder what this summer will be like, I hope it's good.
Lol
One summer night me and Anthony were riding our bikes through the neighborhood, greeting people as we passed, we came accross a group of girls, I said hello.... only one of them said hello back... there were about 6 of them.
we reached the end of the block and were forced to turn around.
of course we had to pass up the group of girls again, and we did, but they were much friendlier this time.
"How old are you!?"
Anthony (11 at the time)- "14!"
Girls- "you're not 14! how old's your friend?!"
Anthony- "15!" (I was 14 at the time)
we reached the OTHER end of the block, I was gonna just go the long way home and skip over the group of girls but oh no, Anthony was insistent that we go back.
Me- "dude, I'm not going back there"
Anthony -"Well I am"
he left, and he broke one of the most important rules in Brotherhood, NEVER LEAVE YOUR WINGMAN!
I heard some screaming, it sounded like Anthony was being attacked.
I decided to follow after him, I couldn't leave my wingman, even though he left me.
As I approached "The Area" I saw the Group, they were sitting on a front porch.
Girls- "it's not nice to ditch your friends!"
Me- "which way did he go?"
Girls- "that way"
I continued on my search for Anthony, I found him waiting for me an a street corner, a look of pure terror on his face.
the first thing he said to me when I reached him was "DUDE! THEY WERE GOTH!"
apperently my lil friend had never bothered to look at their faces, I knew they were all.... echem... not model material.
When he left me he actually got close enough to see their faces and....well.... he had to think up an excuse, so he told them that I had ditched him and he was just looking for me.
HA!
that's what happens when you leave your wingman.
-Never leave your wingman
