It's my Persona

Me and my Aunt (the one thass a bad influence on me.. lol) were looking through some old pics, REALLY old.
there were some from the 70's of my grandparents, I found out that my Grandpa (or "Tata" as I call him) was Cool.
He wore shades, he had his homies, he always seemed to have this look of "yea I'm cool, so what?"

When do people really think of their grandparents and say "My grandpa was FRESH"?
I guess that's where I get my love of awesome shades.

And guess what!
My Nana (grandma) was young once!
who woulda guessed?
she had long hair, she showed her legs, something she NEVER does, now she always wears pants.

I can't believe it took me 16 years to find out that I had grandparents that were young.. at some point in space and time.

ANYWAYS!

Today is my Tata's Birth day, imma get him a new pair of shades, seeing that he has the same taste as me... er.. I have the same taste as him, I think I should be able to find some that fit his persona.

We saw this pic of my Nana and Tata at a wedding, my Nana was sitting there with the same worried look on her face, my Tata was sitting with a bored stare on his face, slouching, and rubbing his thumbs together in a circular motion.

wow.

When I'm bored I slouch and rub my thumbs together.
THAT'S where I get it from!

It's like I've discovered for the very first time where I come from.
After looking through the pics me and my aunt went to the kitchen to get some ice cream (haha, in winter) when my Tata steps through the door, he's wearing shades, me and my Aunt kinda just shared a silent moment where we both "ROFL'd" mentally.

I'll never be able to look at my Nana or Tata the same again.
