how do you spell success?

So Valentines was pretty good, we got nearly a whole scene painted at our meeting.
I was the only boy to show up for the Gazillion valentines youth trip, it was ok though. We blessed a lot of people, saw a lot of smiles, there were some dudes smokin weed, we blessed them too.... they definitely were the happiest to receive our care packages.

Helping out w/ the childcare at church wasn't bad either, you just gotta find out what the kid needs and help em out. Some kids just need someone to play with, others just need someone to sit with. One kid was crying for his mamma and trying to escape (how do lil children know how to unlock locks?), I just sat down with him and grabbed him a Graham cracker and he was fine.... that is.. until I had to leave, I left to get a stapler for someone and when I came back all the voulenteers were in a panic "ERNIE! don't leave, he wants you"
He was my lil buddy for the rest of the night.

I was so dang tired after the childcare though, those kids...... yeah.

I'll make sure to pick up my kids as soon as church is over, when I left at 10(pm) there were still like 5 kids there, we actually started dropping kids off to their parents (you could tell that the parents didn't really like that).

There was one dissapointment in my valentines day though.
The point of the childcare was to raise money for the phillipenes mission trip, now I know that missions use money and the only way to get money is to A. work or B. beg.
I wanna support the mission team as much as I can, that's why I helped out for the childcare, but come on!
Not even half the team that is going to the phillipenes was there, that had me ticked.
Come on people! Do they expect that the money will just show up?
No!
if they wanna go to the phillipenes they have to get there somehow, are their parents gonna pay for their whole way there?

I think I'm gonna bring that up on tuesday, there's no reason for me to be supporting them if they aren't doing anything.

So overall Valentines day was good, I made some lil buddies, blessed some people, didn't eat any candy though :/
