When corndogs attack!

So I went camping this past weekend.... froze my butt off, no campfires.

Unfortunately, the only people willing to share their extra sweaters were the women.
You see, when you're the oldest of the kids in the family, you have the responsibility of being somewhat of a third parent.
"Liberty, did you pack every thing?"

I did this with both sam and liberty, making sure they were fully prepared, all the while as I loaded things into the car my beautifully warm coat sat on the back of the couch, longing for me to grab it.. as you can gather, we drove away without my coat.

So, twas (wow, I've been using twas, tis ect a lot lately) an ok trip, I liked the Fusion one better.

now, in fashion news.....

I GOT ME SOME NEW SHADES!

classic 80's style, black frames with red/orange iridescent highly reflective lenses... so as no one can see my eyes.

In other news, my grandpa died, twas a sad thing.
I had the honor of being a pallbearer for the funeral, aye the pressure, twasn't as bad as i thought it would be.

in Other OTHER news, i got this random facebook friend request from this girl i knew nothing about.

so I was like "denied"

and then I got a message from her.

"ernieeeee, I'm your cousin, from tj!"

QUE ONDA?

So I have a new cousin i knew nothing about, welcome to being Mexican.
She's cool, her name's Isa, when I asked my Tia Lili about her, was like "what, we don't have a cousin Isa!" well we do, I found it odd that Lili didn't know her, considering she knows pretty much everyone and everything about them.

I saw District 9, TWAS AMAZING!
besides the gratuitous amounts of cussing and gore...

I think a lot of people misunderstood the story.

First off, the movie was highly "Anti-establishment"
It dealt with the issue of discrimination towards minorities, I don't want to hear any of this "it was government propaganda, they just wanna take away our guns" that's BS.
If anything it would be ANTI government propaganda.

And what the heck are people talking about "they set it up for a sequel"
wow, either world just got a whole lot dumber or i just got a whole lot smarter.

Anyone with a right mind can see that what happens next is already IMPLIED.
the Alien dude tells the human/Alien guy that he'll be back to rescue his people and change the guy back.

We don't NEED a sequel, let a good movie stand alone, a sequel would ruin it.

So yes, great movie IF you can understand it, if not, then it's just another Alien action flick with no meaning to you.

Anywho, I'm starting a new ministry at church, wow, STRESS
tis going to be fun though, I look forward to telling you guys all about it :)
